Monday morning getting ready for daycare. 20 months old today! 

20 months old today!

Chloe grows more adorable each day. She really tries hard to speak and communicate and she understands a lot more than we give her credit for. Daddy and I took her to the playground this weekend. While she still isn't too fond of the swing, she did go down the slide with assistance. She really likes to climb and she had more fun trying to slide down the steps than going down the slide.

Sunday, we took her to Toy's R Us to purchase a potty seat. We thought she might be ready to start learning how to use it since she now announces the impending arrival of #2 before going in her diaper. We also tried to find her a tricycle small enough that she could reach the pedals. We made the mistake of trying one out in the store. Once we removed her from the trike, she cried and screamed and it all went downhill from there. It was time for a quick exit. At least she recovered in time for a nice dinner out at Coconut Joe's. She really likes the beans and corn. Good thing the Chinese restaurant next door was closed.

Chloe has finally started outgrowing some of her size 12 month clothes. I am beginning to retire a few precious outfits and break out the new ones that have been waiting for months for her to grow into. Some of the 18 month clothes are still a little big, but she seems to be catching up on the growth charts. She's getting really heavy too! It is so much fun to watch her transform from a baby to a wonderful little toddler girl.
